Diamond Light Springs Not far off the beaten path, just behind the Inn, lies a clearing of lush beauty. The haven of the surrounding flowers and trees give the hidden clearing a calm, peaceful feeling. Within the center of this clearing is a hill, but it's not the hill that is amazing, but what's inside it. The mound is hollow, made so by the sparkling hot spring that flows within and the ravages of time and mother nature. Although it does have only the one entrance in, it isn't dark in the least. A soft glow from the little light that filters through the rocky outcropping concealing the entrance, is enhanced by the many small diamonds and diamond dust inset on the walls of the cave and along the floor of the warm pool. The main focus is the spring, bubbling within the center of the cave, but along the walls are placed a few hooks and even some wooden benches carved within... © Kazzillyown Moderator: Kazzillyown |

Windsong Meadow Looking out on the meadow, wonderous colors fill the senses and glow with the vibrance of life. Only a small dirt path parts the lush carpet of grass and wildflowers that decorate the landscape. Accentuating the visual beauty is the namesake of the meadow. Hedgemaze Courtyard Spread out over a vast expanse of well kept garden is a topiary courtyard. Edging the maze of walkways are waist-height hedges, adding structure to the splendor of the beautiful artwork that they protect. Scattered throughout the hedgemaze are large bushes trimmed into the shape of various animals and mythical beasts, each truly a work of art at its mastery. As with most of the gardens, the center of the courtyard is adorned with a large fountain, the outer rim of which is wide enough to be used as a seat if the benches do not strike the fancy of those seeking rest. © Hallie Moderator: Hallie |

White Rose Battlefield At the far end of this veritable paradise is a large expanse of land bereft of flowering vegetation. The White Rose Battlefield remains a tribute to those who fought for the beauty of the land and won, making it possible to make the Gardens a home for all. Receiving its name for the garden of white roses that used to root in the once fertile soil, every dawn a bouquet will be found on the edge... a reminder of the beauty lost to preserve that of the rest of the island... also, to remind those that use this sacred place to settle disputes or spar here, that the beauty came at a price and the surrounding areas are protected... © Hallie Moderator: Locke Tristam |

The Aviary Down the winding path lies the gate to an enormous wrought iron filigree cage. The aviary stands approximately the height of a six story building, encompassing the span of four acres of beautiful shade trees, lush vegetation, and a wide variety of rare and common songbirds. Upon passing through the gate, the path spreads into three directions, the middle giving direct view of a large bubbling fountain. Main Hall Down a long marble walkway lined in massive pillars stand a set of double doors of heavy English Oak. Upon further inspection, the intricate details stand out and seem to come alive with the dancing light that filters through the rhododendron bushes that line the walkway. Scenes of the Great Battle grace the ornate relief, preserving the story of the Angels and their aid in the Gardens' creation and preservation. Moderators: Hallie, Darian de Tylmerande |
