Over the span of eons that Hallie had been lapping up on shores and trickling through stream beds, cutting her way through forests and eroding away the rock faces of cliffs, Hallie had grown conscious of her surroundings and had manifested herself into the form she saw most that dwelled upon the land.
As a human, she traveled from island to island, and continent to continent, all in order to find a place she would best fit in. Her favorite places were the temples, though she also grew accustomed to the taverns, inns, marketplaces and all of the great and terrible things about each city that makes them unique and similar in their own ways.
Not finding what she wanted, she decided to "create" what she wanted so that others may find the peace that she desired out of the dry lands. After a few hundred years, she created a small island. With the help of a few friends she met along the way, a few buildings were erected, gardens were planted, and a paradise was born.
One thing she desired, however, was to give a place for her night-dwelling friends to finally bask in the sun's rays without thought of their flesh burning. With the help of an old friend, she erected a magic filter, a sort of "bubble" around the island to filter out the sun's harsh rays, yet still allow the light to shine through.
With this filter in place, all beings could co-exist in the sunlight, enjoying her gardens for what they were, a place of peace and serenity.
